Our Services

Evaluation

$100

Our comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation is the first step in understanding your child’s strengths, challenges, and specific needs. The evaluation includes:

  • Parent/Caregiver Interview: We start by learning about your child’s history, daily routines, developmental milestones, and any concerns you may have.

  • Clinical Observations & Standardized Assessments: We observe your child’s play, motor skills, sensory processing, and daily activities. Standardized tools may be used to gain a deeper understanding of their functional abilities.

  • Customized Recommendations: After the evaluation, you will receive a detailed report outlining your child’s current abilities, areas of need, and personalized treatment goals.

  • Home Environment Considerations: Since the evaluation is conducted in your home, we also assess how your child's surroundings can be adapted to support success and comfort.

Treatment Sessions

$80

Our therapy sessions are play-based, child-centered, and always tailored to your family’s schedule. Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes and may address:

  • Sensory Integration Needs: Support for children who are over- or under-responsive to sensory input (e.g., sound, touch, movement).

  • Fine and Gross Motor Development: Activities to strengthen hand function, coordination, balance, and core strength.

  • Self-Help Skills: Promoting independence with dressing, feeding, hygiene, and daily routines.

  • Emotional Regulation & Attention: Strategies to support focus, transitions, and coping with frustration or overwhelm.

  • Parent Coaching: We work alongside you, sharing techniques and strategies to continue progress between sessions.

Session frequency and duration are based on the results of the evaluation and the goals set in collaboration with your family.

One Time Consultation

$150

For families seeking guidance without ongoing therapy, we offer a one-time consultation service. This session is ideal if:

  • You're concerned about your child’s development but aren’t sure if ongoing therapy is needed.

  • You want professional input on specific challenges (e.g., picky eating, dressing skills, sensory sensitivities).

  • You’d like suggestions on how to better support your child at home or in the community.

The consultation includes:

  • A focused discussion on your main concerns.

  • Observations of your child in your home environment.

  • Practical strategies you can start using right away.

  • Home program suggestions and/or equipment recommendations, such as sensory tools, adaptive utensils, or positioning supports that can help your child succeed.

Why Occupational Therapy in home?

For many families, accessing traditional occupational therapy in a clinic or hospital setting can be overwhelming—especially when caring for a child with special needs. Between coordinating appointments, managing transportation, and navigating unfamiliar environments, what should be a supportive experience can quickly become stressful.

That’s why Little Steps Occupational Therapy brings skilled therapy directly to you.

As a licensed occupational therapist with years of experience providing in-home care, I’ve seen firsthand how much more meaningful and effective therapy can be when it takes place in a child’s natural environment. In the home, children feel safe, routines are familiar, and therapy goals are built right into everyday life—whether it's getting dressed, navigating mealtime, or building play and communication skills.

In-home therapy also makes it easier for parents and caregivers to be actively involved. Instead of hearing about progress after a session, you’ll see it in real time—and gain practical tools to support your child’s development throughout the day.

With in-home services, therapy works around your family’s schedule—not the other way around. No traffic, no waiting rooms, no added stress—just personalized care, right where your child grows best.

Let’s take those first little steps, together.
